In this Yue Jin Lantern Festival, we intend to create an exclusively light piece based on the dynamic flow of numbers. By the inspiration of the shape of Yanshui district which is alike the shape of the new moon, we try to respond with a full moon appearance.
A moon is a tool of time calculating in the past. Nowadays, “time” is mostly being seen in the electronic way. We convert the electronic numbers by the 7-segment lights and combine the moon and numbers. While the ancient and modern intersperse each other, the beauty of the number and the moon will be shown at the same time.
